Echo Village Budget Motel

Not a fancy place by any stretch. But the room was serviceable and the staff were friendly. Rates are cheap, and offers a refundable pet deposit.

The staff and new owner are always friendly :) I've had to stay at the hotel when I was having some problems while working. Lana and her girls always have a solution if there's a problem (which there was barely any problems at all). Housekeeping is always on top of getting the rooms looking/smelling great. The rates are the best in town for a single, working mom like myself.

It's ok gets a lot of bad reviews but for a person who works it has TVs and bathtub. Its affordable and I hope it sticks around. Cleaner than they say.

I tell you. They may not be popular. But the room incredibly clean. Everything works. Surprise at the room. Cable amc sci-fy . etc. No noice. Price lower than name bland motel hotel. I will go again and again. Dont raise price. Please. Keep doing good job. Thumbs up.

I have been staying at this hotel for almost 30 years. As a single mom with two small children it was the only place I could afford when a double room (1 double bed) was only $19.99 a night. But it was always clean, we always felt safe, and Ms Rose the owner was always kind to us (to everyone) Her night folks were always very helpful telling me where the best places to eat for the least amount of money and me and my kids spent many long weekends in Winchester and Stevens City when they were young. Now that they are grown and have kids of their own, they still go to Double Tollgate (Where Dinosaurland was) and they also stay at Ms Rose's Echo Village Motel. Bring your own stuff (shampoo, soap, hair dryer, towels) but otherwise enjoy the hospitality as if you were visiting friends and relatives.

Stayed at this motel a few times now and its always the best deal in the area! The rooms are constantly being improved, I love the new upgrades, the new flat screens, the sport channel package, microwaves, fridges, WiFi make the deal for me at $36 a night. The rooms are always clean and the atmosphere is quiet and safe. Highly recommended!

This hotel really lives up to it's name. While it only provides the basic services, it is kept in very good repair. Very clean!

Rooms are super clean; looks freshly painted! Air conditioning works great! TV and beds are oddly placed but found out today the TV is mounted with a swiveling wall Mount so we can angle it to see the screen much better. Unfortunately no WiFi available (make sure to bring mobile hotspots) however they have a pretty nice kitchen set up between the lobby and laundry room that is available for guests to use that has a stove, oven, air fryer, toaster, and etc…. They have 2 washers and 2 dryers that are coin operated and they provide quarters at front desk when change is needed as well as laundry detergent. Towels are not included with room so bring your own or they do provide for an $8 deposit per set. Room rates are unbeatable with pricing when on a budget! We have a closet space with rod to hang clothes, mini fridge and microwave. Plenty of electrical outlets to plug in all devices! Mattresses are not very comfortable so we had to get a mattress pad for the bed, but like I said it’s the best (lowest) priced place in Winchester when on a budget! Motel staff are extremely friendly and helpful! While we are in an end unit room it does seem to be a quiet place. The outdoor space is lovely, with a huge grassy yard with Trees, shade and seating. We do plan to extend our stay!
